FPIK UNDIP and Bapperisda Pati Establish Strategic Cooperation to Develop Superior Human Resources in the Marine and Fisheries Sector

On January 10, 2025, the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences (FPIK) of Diponegoro University (UNDIP) officially established a partnership with the Regional Development Planning, Research, and Innovation Agency (Bapperisda) of Pati Regency. The signing of the Cooperation Agreement (PKS) was held at the UNDIP Teluk Awur Jepara Campus and was attended by the Dean of FPIK UNDIP, Prof. Agus Trianto, S.T., M.Sc., Ph.D., and his staff, the Head of the Jepara Campus Management Agency, Prof. Dr. I Nyoman Widiasa, S.T., M.Si., and the Head of Bapperisda Pati Regency, Dr. Muhtar, S.IP., M.M., and his team.

This collaboration focuses on various aspects, such as the selection of scholarship recipients from Pati Regency for the TBPK study program, the provision of educational facilities that support modern learning, and joint monitoring and evaluation to ensure the program’s success.

One of the main objectives of this collaboration is to provide access to quality education to scholarship recipients while preparing them to become graduates capable of competing in the digital era.

With funding allocated from the Pati Regency Government, this collaboration creates a strong bridge between the academic world and practical needs in the field. This collaboration is expected to be a catalyst for creating new innovations and the sustainability of the marine and fisheries ecosystem in Indonesia.

This strategic partnership demonstrates the commitment of FPIK UNDIP and Bapperisda Pati Regency to developing superior human resources ready to meet the challenges of the marine industry in the future.
